quickie cooling fan upgrade

here is a quickie cooling fan upgrade for earlier XJ's. use a 93 0r 94 or newer electric cooling fan from a an XJ that uses the r134 freon.the r134 has higher head pressure then the old r12 and doesn't cool as well as the old r12. using the later cooling fan has 8 blades and a higher CFM to cool the condenser. i used a fan off a 97 and installed it into my 87. i did how ever have to change the connector. simple as cutting and soldering or you can use butt connectors. i also found the new fan is quieter too. also cools the jeep faster too.
