99xj Door alignment/mount/door pin question

the drivers door on my 99xj isn't right. I think its the pins. When you open the door it falls down a tiny bit so if you close the door slowly it won't connect right. A guy that was doing some work on the jeep said he thinks you can't just replace the pins and that its a huge deal to fix the problem.

Is this true or is there an easy fix to it? There has been no accident there, just over time and 190,000 miles, its off a bit.

The pins are replaceable. I have done it on my 2000. IIRC I used a "Help" kit. However I don't remember any part numbers.

Oh man, that is music to my ears. Just gotta try to find this "help" kit.

Yeah I think thats it. You will need two to do both hinges. I had to cut my pin in half to get it out.
