Before getting the SYE (Advance Adapters) I was under the impression that the caged needle bearings inside the rear output shaft chain gear did NOT need to be removed. However, the instructions say to remove these gears, and they definitely need to be removed in order for this gear to slide onto the new output shaft.

I don't have a press available...so what is the best way to get these bearings out? Thanks!

I used a hammer with a socket the size of the inner needle bearings and just held the gear in my hand while I hit the bearings out.

Well, that worked...except I had to use a vice. W/ the AA SYE, do I just not use bearings when installing the chain gear on the new output shaft??
