NP242 Application

Yes, as long as the output spline count on the transmission matches the input spline count on the transfer case.

I know some 231 off of TJ have a longer input shaft. Could this be the same as a 231 off a ax15 on an XJ?

I've been told AX15 never came with the 242. Especialy when i tell them i have one behind my ax15. I put it in when i did the 2x to 4x swap. 90 down is 21 spline 92 up is 23. 1991 was either or.

I get told the same thing when I say I have a 242 in my Wrangler, but then again, my wrangler also didn't come with the AW4 it has in it either. :)
