hello
I wanted to buy a fuel cell with Unit Included.
is to mount a cherokee xj my problem is I do not know what the Unit I have to choose.
which of these three is that I have to choose?
* 0 ohms empty, 90 ohms full
* 240 ohms empty, 33 ohms full
* 70 ohms empty, 10 ohms full
tank you

Depends on the year of your XJ.

IIRC 84-90:

1 ohm = empty; 44 ohm = 1/2; 88 ohm = full.

IIRC 91+:

105 ohm = empty; 33 ohm = 1/2; 5 ohm = full.

I would probably go with the 70-10. I am not sure if Joe's list is correct but I would bet on it.

For anyone who finds this thread - 96 and 97-01 vehicles have other resistance gradients for the sender. I don't remember offhand what they are, but they are different.

'96- E=105 ohms, 1/2=33, Full= 5 ohms.

'96 has 2nd output to PCM OBD2.

(NOTE: 1996 is extra $$$$ so be extra careful with it.)
