DIFFERNCE BETWEEN 91 and 92 engine

Wanting to know if there's differnce between the motors and how the hook up to the tranny and if a 92 long block will work in a 91 xj with a 91 tranny??? Kinda lost and frustrated because the only thing I've found is the pilot bore is differnt between the two years cranks but its not very clear.

afaik there is no difference whatsoever

91-98 blocks are interchangeable with the exception of the coolant temp sensor for the guage which was taken out of the rear of the head in 96 and integrated into the coolant temp sensor for the computer.

so yes 91 and 92 are the same.
