Front DS/cardan rebuild?

it's time to get rid of my angry sparrows. I ordered the 3 greaseable 1310 u joints for my front propshaft and I ordered the spicer centering ball kit. Do I need any other parts for the cardan? or is the centering kit it? I just dropped the shaft and can see that the outer seal/dust cover whatever it is called is cracked and shot does that come with it?

It should come with it, so you should have what you need. Remember that you cannot drive the ujoint cap completly out on the double joint like you would on a single joint. The most you will get is about half way out. Then put the cap in a vice and smack the yoke with a hammer to get it out the rest of way.

its easier to get the yoke with the center ball rather than the rebuild kit.

My new one was $50 from the junkyard, just saying.
