Dear Torx Bolt Inverter,

torque converter bolts?? are u having a problem removing them?

Here's an old trick that has helped me get a ton of torx bolts (even with loctite on them) out without damage or hassle (if the bolt heads are accessible):

Get your soldering iron out, plug it in, and hold the tip of your iron in the torx star. 30 to 45 seconds is normally enough to heat the loctite/metal/rust, allowing you to easily break the torx bolt free. I use this method all the time, and have yet to break a bolt or bit.

(Disclaimer: For you poor bastards in the rust belt, the only cure is to MOVE out of the rust belt. :D)

pencil torch also works handily, don't melt the throttle body on the TPS screws!
