leaf spring bushings

i have an 89 xj with a toyota rear end. the bushings are shot. how do i know what bushings to buy? are they jeep springs, or toyota springs? anyone have any advice on telling the two apart?

Measure the bushings?

if they were in good shape i could. they are so shot i dont think i could get an accurate measure on them.

We have no idea if you have Toyota or jeep springs. Best thing is to measure them Jeep will be 2.5" wide Toyota will be 2.36" wide springs. As for bushings most aftermarket springs use different sizes than OE except OME springs. Measure the Spring eyes and that should give you a start.
