Beadlocking stock steelies

I was talking to a buddy of mine about beadlocks, and how every locked set of wheels were wide. And then I got an idea, locking a set of stock steelies. And I'm curious if anyone has actually locked a set?

Not stock but they were 15x7s. What exactly is your question?

This is about the best picture I have to show you of how wide they were.
This was a LONG time ago! I had forgot about the roof rack and fender flares. lol
The tires in the picture are 34/9.50/15s.

I was just curious if anyone has locked stock jeep wheels. I'm thinking about it, I want to run skinny tires. And that wouldn't work on my 10" wide wheels. And I'm not going bigger then 32's for now

You do know beadlocks don't only come in 10" wide rims right? Most of them do come in narrower varieties.

It'll only work on steel wheels. Otherwise you'll have to send them to Champion.
