I know I have seen this on here somewhere but I can't find it. Bought a 94 XJ wrecked in the front was thinking about putting front clip from 97-01. Do I need to change the core support? Will everything just bolt up? Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure you will need the front light haness and fenders for the 97 and up swap.
I'm planning on doing fenders, lights, loaded header, just wondering if hood will need changed and will everything bolt to the core support? Do the holes all line up etc? Thanks again:)

This front end is actually quite the slut.. we painted the turquoise white and put it on my buddies a few weeks ago....

Everything will pretty much bolt up as long as you put the newer fenders on too. If you try to put the new header panel on the old fenders then it's a different story.

I was ably to pretty easily modify my harness to work too. I believe the old side markers have 4 rubber prongs that go through the light then you twist to tighten, the newer lights only have 3, i just trimmed one off. And the newer front turn signals take two bulbs per light, old ones only have 1. We simply got 2 more and spliced them into the harness. Thats about all there is to it.

DAMN that front clip gets around!

I have the 99 front on my 89.. Just pull the old, and install the new. Everything lines up when you use the later model fenders.
