Decided to scrape off the old "Jeep Jamboree USA" sticker off my back window and replace it with something more appropriate... :D

I got both of them for $10.00 including shipping (big NAXJA, small web addy) by ordering through this post in the For Sale section:

This might be something that could perhaps be offered in the NAXJA store for fund raising.

The guy was great to deal with. Quick at responding to emails. Super fast shipping... Just thought I'd share...

maybe re-post this in the members only forum.....so maybe someof the upper-ups can see it and make a decision

maybe offer a discount (dollar or two off?) for NAXJA Members. . .

Hmmm IIRC you have to get permission from the BOD to use NAXJA and the name in any shape form and manner. I recall someone asking for that 2 or 3 years ago and they got it, but they did have to ask it.....

Does that mean my membership is revoked? I've run this sticker for 4.5 years to numerous events without official permission and haven't had a BOD member call me on it "yet".

Well, I'm a member of NAXJA's BOD. If nobody else is going to call you on your "unauthorized" use of the NAXJA name...then I will.. :nono: ...where the hell you get it? It's great and I want one also!! :wave1: (I just luv those smilies!) I've got a spot on my windshield that it would just fit. Have to buy a new windshield as we caught a rock in a construction zone. Want to replace the Moab Off Road sticker with one about NAXJA..did you buy it or make it?

To The NAXJA Board...

John Bjorum of Holland, Michigan - 2003 Moab NAXJA T-shirt inspiration (His Red '96 XJ on back of the T-shirt) and myself, Josh Russell, son in law to John came down to Attica for Winterfest 2 years ago. What a blast! I still can picture the look on Scott Mac's face as his Blue XJ popped out of gear, and rolled down the side of that sand dune. I believe Scott crapped his pants that day. Remember that anyone? That year we camped outside and I remember the campfire, Beezil's tasty home brew, that warm fire, Vug's smoking, leaking heap, and that warm ace fire! I've been a Jeep addict :spin1: ever since. From that point I've modified my '93 two door XJ quite a bit. Though I'll never be completely finished.... :nono:

The whole point is, I have access to a vinyl plotter which is capable of making the beloved window sticker. I must admit. I have created without the consent of the NAXJA BOARD (under 5 stickers), stickers consisting of the NAXJA website and what it stands for. That work from the original post is mine.

John B and his "pretty rig", and I with my "budget rig" will be down to Attica, Indiana for WinterFest 2004 Next Saturday Feb. 21st. With the permission of the board, I'd like to make 25 of each sticker and contribute all proceeds to the NAXJA fund. We could sell the stickers for $5 a piece or simply give them away, whatever the board decides. These stickers I'm speaking of are: www.NAXJA.org (.75" height) & North American XJ Association (1.5" height). All First letters and XJ would be sized up a couple times to make NAXJA stand out. If this is cool, get back to me either by email, or reply here. I can't wait to wheel with you guys again. Have a good one.

I remember scott dropped to his knees. he lost the power to walk.

I lost the power to speak (or laugh)

I had to help scott light his cigarette.

I remember having to overwhelming urge to smoke a cig too!

as for tasty homebrew, its awn! and IB keggin! (no more bottles)

I am bringin down a new recipe that is supposed to be similar to sam adams boston lager....

I am currently working on draining an ale right now, thats a dead-ringer for petes wicked ale.

I doubt there will be any left, if there is, we'll drink the rest.

5 gallons amounst a bunch of youz guys will go fast...

where is everyone camping?

btw, naxja ALWAYS had an official font, some people just refuse to conform.
