Trussing the rear?
I think he'd have done that before taking the time to apply 6 coats of epoxy paint.

I don't see much reason for a truss with his setup, either.

Nope.

Guide bar? are you talking about the tube holding the axle? It's just some 1.5" erw scrap we have laying around

Purdy Welds ya got there.

I assume that tracbar mount accepts the stock bushing?

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out where to mount my sway bar brackets on my new 44. Are they going have good clearance and angles? I'm anxious to see it all assembled with the sway bar installed.

Thank you. :)

I don't see why the mount wouldn't, but I'm running heims at both ends.

As for the sway bar mounts, I more than likely won't be running the factory bar so I'm not sure if they would work for everyone. I'll be running a straight chromo bar like XJeeper's

That was my next question... "What joints are you going to use?"

Seems like to me, with the bracket at an angle like that would cause some bind when flexing but with heims on both ends I guess it would do ok. I'll most likely be running heim on the axle end of mine this time. I'm tired of replacing bushings...

Sexy Bryson, I like it.

Whenever you get around to throwing these bad boys up, lemme know. I'd be more than willing to lend a hand.

Hope all is well in the boosted lane. ;)

Does the Ballistic truss use a factory upper arm bushing or their own like the T&T truss?

What did he do with the straight chromo bar? I can't find anything.

I was never any good at keeping busings in my track bar either. I switched to heims and never worried about it again.

The ballistic truss doesn't include UCA mounts, which is one of the reasons I bought it. I used Iron Rocks machined bushing housings that work with the factory rubber, and fabbed up mounts to fit my link requirements. :)

I found it.

Feel free to share. I still haven't figured out my sway bars yet. Thought I'd use a stock one.

Nice! That's the only thing that I think isn't great about the T&T truss used for my D44. I bought it with the upper mounts installed and they use a smaller (maybe leaf spring) bushing. If I were to do it again I think I would get the truss without and build the uppers like you did.

This is page 7 of the thread. Middle of the page for the sway bar.
