Dash electrical issues

Ok so this involves my radio and climate control. CC off and radio on, all good, I slide the vent selector and radio turns off then back on after the slider is at the other end. Little confused here. Sounds as simple as the mechanisim for the cc is pulling on the acc wire on the back of the radio? or can there be something else? imean I did get the truck with a bunch of electrical problems that im slowly repairing so idk if its something stupid or should I pull my dash and go through the harness...
