Rims and backspacing

ARB-XJ

NAXJA Forum User
How do i figure out how much backspacing i am going to need? I'm going to to running front & rear 44's both with disks, rear is going to have wheel spacers.

Full-width 44 / TJ 44s...? How wide are they? How willing are you to cut your sheetmetal to open up the wheelwells? How much lift (I assume you're talking about the 6.5" on 33s in your sig?) There's plenty of variables, and the more you modify your own Jeep, the more difficult it is to answer your particular question. On mine, I knew that 4" BS on a 15x7 worked, but that's because I'd seen what similar setups did and where they rubbed if they differed slightly.

What tire height/width are you going to be running, and what width rim?

front is 65" rear is 61" hence the spacers in the rear....tires will be 35x12.50...rims are unknown as of yet. Fenders are already cut and folded.
