Because I had plans to get a Trijicon Accupoint or a Millett sooner or later (meaning: when money allowed) and the BSA was just to have something in the meantime.I actually like shooting it open-sight better than w/ the red dot.

understood, i just ordered an EOTech for my SBR, i am pretty thrilled. gonna be a bit before i get to shoot though. stupid afghanistan.
