Hey, i am new to this forum but i have a 1991 cherokee briarwood and i my brake lights do not work. i have already replaced the bulbs, i have replaced the switch on the brake pedal, and i can not find a fuse labeled for the brake lamps. but my taillights and turn signals work. I was just wandering if anyone had any helpful hints.

Welcome to NAXJA!

Did you test for the missing "element"? Power or ground--what is missing at the socket?

headlamp switch does not have anything to do with the brake lamps.

The turn signal/hazard switch does, though. cycle the hazard switch a few times and see if the brake lamps start working again.

The brake lamps get their power from the turn/hazard fuse.

Do you have cruise control? if so make sure you re installed the plugs right. When i had to pull my master out i installed them wrong and i had no brake lights.
