98 XJ Fog Light. Left or Right side... Anyone know?

I was able to pick this up from a wrecker but no one can tell me if it belongs on the Right or Left... or shall I say Drivers, or Passenger side. Apparently they are side specific but no real distinguishing markings. I"ll I can see is the lense seems to be more tapered on one side and there is what looks like a dranage plug on the back. I've been to Auto Value and they require I pre-pay before they will order it for me and I don't want to end up with the one I already have.

Can Anyone tell me where it belongs

I've never heard of this being the case - and am running what was the right-hand side fog light on the left-hand side of my 2000 XJ. Swapped over without issue; can't imagine it would be different on any '97-'01.

I know the brackets generally have L or R on them, but you don't have the bracket it seems. If no one answers in the meantime, I can check ones I have at work tomorrow and tell you what is what.

From other pics I found on the net, it looks as if I have the Drivers side. The tapered end seems to go towards the outside of the vehicle.

Apparently they are off a ZJ but how different can they really be... They look identical. I bet I could even use one off a Grand Cherokee even tho all the wreckers tell me I can't...
