cut my front fenders

I decided to trim up my front fenders the other day but I needed to keep some type of flare on the jeep to keep it legal. I decided to reinstall my factory flares on the front. I removed the flare by just grabbing them and ripping them off. i then held the flares up the the bottom of the body line on the front fender. i traced the flare with a sharpie and then went to town cutting all the extra metal off . i ended up cutting about 5 inches of fender out. i left enough fender below the sharpie line to fold it over to a 90 degree angle and then drill holes into the folded over fender. i then held up the flare and drilled the holes through the fender up through the flare. the first one wasnt as good as the second flare.
