Rear quarter panel replacement

Any one ever cut out an old dented one and replace it? I have a good sized dent just below the window in mine, and feel like replacing it to make it look new again. Wouldnt be too dificult if one could weld right?

The rear 1/4 panel is part of the unibody structure. Replacing it means cutting a large number of spot welds to separate the panel skin from the unibody. The install requires welding and use of automotive unibody structural adhesive.

I'd rather pull the plastic off the inside and hammer the dent back out. If it's bad enough I'd get one of those dent pullers that tacs a copper stud to the metal and pull it out using that method.
