2.8 gears

just bought an 86 cherokee for parts, and was wondering if any one has a dana id chart. or you know what some of the common gear ratios they came with. it has the 2.8v from gm. any help is good help, thanks.

3.55 or 3.73 are more common. Still have the ID tag on either axle?

Also, 4.10's are fairly common in 2.8's, if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, my 2.8 has 4.10 gears, Dana 30 disco up front and Dana 35 in back.

3 choices it could be

1. 3.31:1 if its 2 door and has fuel economy package

2. 4.10:1 if it has OHV package

3 3.73:1 if it has tow package

check for a sticker in your glove box or on the side of the door it may indicate if u have anyt of these packages.
