88 xj > TSU location

Been going at the xj all day now.. Need to find my Temp sending unit so I can install an aftermarket gauge (ran 250 per the gauge yesterday, but no heat at all, so bleh to the gauge!!)

Searched and searched.. yeah yeah.. "near the firewall".. but that's not working for me, lol.

Is this the "bolt" that has the l bracket that holds the dipstick? or what am I looking for?

Need help ASAP!! Running ONF tomorrow.

Far back corner of the head on the drivers side. Looks like maybe it should be a valve cover bolt, but has a wire coming out of it.

other side of the head from the dipstick. It looks like a vaccum hose connected to the top of it. From the front of the vehicle it is slightly to the left of the MAP sensor on the top of the head, next to the valve cover.
