anything is possible. I dont know how deep you'd want to get into it. The 97+ ECU's have the TCU built into them (ODB2 style) so that would pretty much stop you from using a early HO seperate TCU to control it. While I'm sure its possible to use the connectors from your 2000 tranny and all the hard parts from the 91. That MIGHT be a serious PIA, but someones had to have done it before.

You could always just run it without a TCU, like a manual transmission, but you'd have to shift it manually and lock up the torque converter manually.
