Well my Hall Valley run didn't happen, so my GF and I decided we would go explore around the Pickle Gulch area, in Gilpin County, just North of Central City off of 119. Her family owns property in that area, and I hadn't been there yet, so we figured we'd check it out. Nothing extreme, but we had a great time, and there were plenty of Aspens. Enjoy

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiccccccccccccccccccce! :)

A nice coat of rustolem hammered finish on those wheels would look tits dude! Great pics sorry I couldn't make it!

Ya know, I thought about either doing that, or tracking down some of the darker Icons, but these really grew on me. I think the lighter color contrasts well with the rest of the Jeep.

Pickle Gulch has so many offshoots and abandoned mines up in there.

Looks like a lot of us went up to check out the colors this weekend.

Very peaceful.............very dry and scary. Big Fire BAN signs everywhere................

Hope we start to get some moisture up there soon or some idiot is going to accidentally start another fire.

That's for sure, very easy to get turned around up there. It was just by accident that we stumbled upon the first mine. We got fairly deep into the area. As soon as I get a better GPS than my Droid, I would like to go even further.
