dana 44 for cherokee

i have 2 dana 44's with 3.54 gears one is out of a cherokee and the other is out of a comanche just testing to waters to see if anyone wants them and how much they would be willing to pay

well they arent in perfect condition the cherokee dana 44 needs a new backing plate and if your interested i could probably let them both go for a 475

What is a backing plate and how much do one of those cost to replace?

I believe you can pull a backing plate off any old 44. Its the circular piece or cover that bolts to the axle tubes to hole the drum break assembly and such. Or you could just throw disc brakes on it. :guitar:
