Ok..here goes...98 XJ..steering box is leaking. I looked up a few sources for a replacement but the cost I saw was in the $300-$400 range..WOW!!!
or more like OOOWWW..
Does anybody know where I can just purchase the lower seal that is leaking or find a more affordable box? I gotta' have it fixed before tomorrow night so I can get to the folks for dinner on Thurs. and back to work on Fri.
Thanks,

Durt

Go to a pro parts store like Napa or Carquest and get a sector shaft seal. Not a real big job- I usually pull the sector shaft out after removing the pitman arm by removing the top cover w/ 4 bolts.
