So I installed my drop brackets last weekend. Ran into some clearance issues. First one was the drag link was hitting the bolt for the steering stabilizer. Fixed it with stock upper control arms (thanks to mike). Send one now the drag link from the pitman arm, is hitting the passengers side anti-sway bar mount. Have anyone of you ever seen this?

Oh using 5.5 deaver jeep speed coil, 1 inch coil spacers, re 4.5 inch lower control arms, and stock uppers.

I thought about just cutting the mount off I don't have the sway bar in or have intention of having it back on.

Yeah my dragllink only has about 1/4 inch from hitting the steering stablizer bolt...I have adj uppers but the caster is good and dont want to mess it up. Dont know about the draglink hitting the sway bar mount though. Just cut it off! Im running drop brackets and 5.5 coils too...

Jeez Ted the coil alone is fine. Haha pull the spacer out and see what happens?

Ted, once you put drop brackets on you should be able to run stock length arms (upper and lower). It sounds like your lower arms are for 4.5" lift and you're using stock upper arms. Try swapping in stock lowers to see if that helps.

yeah if your lowers are fixed length for the 4.5" kit then they are too long. personally, i cut off my sway bar mounts when i changed my steering due to clearance issues, havent looked back. but im having a similar problem in that my tie rod hits my track bar bolt when i turn right

Yea the kit does call for stock lowers also.

After I swaped the stock uppers I have problems. So I guess I need get some stock lowers and sell my re coils and arms as a set lol.

maybe that will pay for my stiffeners
