A friend of mine recommended this as a rust preventative remedy:

I sprayed the axles and the undercarriage with it in attempt to prevent my cah to become the typical swiss cheese Jeep from NE and so far it seems that it is working.
I plan on spraying it for the next couple of weeks until I feel comfortable and then paint it.
The winter will be the ultimate test and I will post the results next spring.
