The city lights are not bad here but I can get to 10,000 Ft in about fifteen minutes. It will be better there. :D

Did you get any? I saw 3 in 15 minutes or so in my backyard at 2am through some clouds. I also saw the Andromeda Galaxy and Jupiter's moons through binocs.

We saw. Few but I had a pretty bad night. I was setting my camera up on a tripod and somehow it tipped forward landing in loose rocks and gravel right on the lens. It put a pretty nice chip in the glass. I haven't used it yet to find out how bad it will affect it. I'm probably going to have to send back to Nikon to have the lens replaced. Right after that I set it up for a 20 min exposure and sit waiting and freezing for it to get done. When I went to check on it I found the battery had died and it didn't capture anything.

After that I just packed it up and left I was pretty frustrated.

Yeah Todd..Being on the lake would have been better. I had to work Friday. Thanks for the offer though.
