bumper mounting bolts

im building my own front bumper and am working on the mounts. ive seen pictures of how people mounted them but i cant figure out if the bolts went all the way through the frame rail or if they just went through one wall. also any hints or tricks for the mounting or anything about building the bumper would be great thanks'

Mine go all the way through. I mocked my brackets up out of cardboard first then cut them out and drilled the holes. I spent almost as much in bolts as I did in the steel. Good luck!

I was going to but ended up not making any. I did use some really large washers on some of them on the inside.
