need A/c oil capacity for 99

Looked all over and the web and in haynes manual and cant find how many ounces of oil it takes when installing a new compressor on a 99 XJ...
Anyone have the specs for it ?

The proper amount is drained fluid plus an ounce. There's a chart somewhere that tells what to add depending on the part.

You do not say what motor you have but both systems take from DRY..
20 oz of freon(134)
8 oz of pag-100 oil
