Steering wheel wont lock, turn signals wont work?

Probably an easy fix, anyways, I just picked up a 98 XJ that had been hit lightly on the RF, the bags went off(not sure if this has anything to do with the problem or not) the issue im having is the steering wheel wont lock up when in park and the ignition off and the turn signal switch doesnt autmatically disengage no matter how much I turn the wheel? Any ideas?

Good chance some things got busted under the steering wheel or in the column.

You are probably going to have to pull the wheel anyway, post up what you find.
