Hey ... I love my XJ ... and I've gotten lots of good help from NAXJA for it.
Anyone know of a Ford Truck forum as good as NAXJA? I just bought an '89 Ford F250, and would like to get some good advice on it.
Thanks!!

Unable to resist a straight line... if you just bought it, and are now planning actually to run it, it's obvious you've already learned to ignore good advice! :spin1:

LOL ... It's actually a pretty good truck. My old truck was an '86 Chevy C-10 (1/2 ton), 2WD, with a 4.3L V-6 motor and tons of rust-out. This Ford F250 (3/4 ton) has the 5.8L motor, 4WD with lockable hubs, and zero rust.

yes it could...The E4OD is the biggest piece of $hit for a trans...I think they converted it into a FWD model for the taurus /sable line of the similar and later years.

My Chevy needed new ball joints at 12 thousand miles. The tranny lasted until 18K. It has 42K now and if it passes 50 before the crusher comes I'll be surprised. Next tranny blowup and I'll be offering a nice low mileage 350 in the classifieds.

I have a 92 F150 as well as the jeep. Ford-trucks.com as mentioned earlier seems about the best. You typical number of jerks there like most any forum (NAXJA does seem to have a few less that the normal percentage :))
Both it and the jeep are inlines though :)
