Looking for one of those exploded views showing all the parts of a rear XJ Dana 44.
Thanks.

Quadratec has it and many other exploded diagrams in their "replacement parts" section. Unfortunately, this is listed as a CJ D44 rear end. Not too sure what the differences would be:

Thanks, trying to figure out if there is some kind of a rock shield on the yoke.

Not exactly, I meant the large washer some yokes have to protect the shield.
Thanks.

I think your talking about the dust shield that, if installed, was a large "washer" that is pressed onto the yoke. It's not really part of the diff. I recently replaced a yoke on my front D44. I asked about the need for the shield, and was told it causes problems with collecting dirt/mud more often than keeping such stuff away from the pinion seal. My rear D44 yoke does not have a shield either. Been that way for 7-8 years.

If that ^ is what your talking about it will protect your yoke like a sunglasses protect your face. Keeps some stuff out, annoying as hell when stuff gets behind it, and if it bends/breaks it might be worse than not having them at all.

So, basically, if I don't have it I won't miss it.
Thanks guys.
I would still like a real nice exploded view of the rear XJ Dana 44.
If anybody runs into it please post.
