XJ D35 vs ZJ D35 question

Long story short I've got a factory posi-trac from my 97 D35 that a guy may want for his 95 ZJ. Would this fit the ZJ D35? Also are there different spline counts for the ZJ D35's that would need to be taken into consideration?

I'm inclined to think so, as long as the axle shafts are retained in the same manner (C-clips at the inner end or bolt/nut plates at the wheel end.) I am not aware of any spline count differences - at least for models - in the D35 at the moment.

If I'm wrong, someone please let me know! Still working on research...

Thanks Jon, yeah all the articles I read seemed to imply the same thing but it wasn't clear cut

I know the WJ d35 is not a c-clip axle wierd but I'm certain the ZJ one is since I pulled the spiders and cross shaft out of one at one point.
