I saw some on ebay but they're in the UK or only have one side.
I asked a Jeep shop in the UK and they said they order them from the US, so the lights are made here.

What store carries these and where is the best price? Do the sockets fit as is on a US spec XJ?

Heres a pic of the tail lights I'm looking for,

Euro tails run an extra bulb (4bulbs opposed to 3), so you would have to splice-in the extra socket into your current harness. Those tails were standard issue practically everywhere (Europe, Japan, Australia, etc...), so they shouldn't be hard to find on any of those ebay sites.

I also have a contact in England I use for euro Jeep parts. Last time he quoted me Ł35 + Post. His name's Colin, and you can reach him at dorsetjeep at ntlworld dot com. He's trustworthy, and he doesn't sell junk.

Thanks. I found they're made here or at least the UK people order it from here. One store said they get them from, crownautomotive.net so should be able to save on some postage hopefully going through a local distributor.
I'm gonna try to get them locally but good to know a back up source for those. I'll just run the factory sockets unless I install a fog light switch.

Chiming in from Germany. You guys really like that lights? I think that will be the first part IŽll get rid of as soon as I can afford a new XJ - IŽll gladly send it over the pond and replace it with the red/white one from ebay.

Or are there any clear lights made like this, but for the facelift modell? Or just the ricer stuff?

I think people like stuff that's uncommon in their area. Lord knows I spent allot of time on ebay.de for that reason.

I've been thinking about picking up a pair of those, but putting red vinyl over just the reverse light portion. Then switching the wiring around so the reverse lights are in the middle, and the blinkers are red at the bottom.

^ I wish they just came from the factory that way (red/clear/red)

I still have a saved link to a set on ebay, I think I'll scoop them up and give it a try.

Sorry about that, I was organizing some photos in one of my albums, deleting some and some how a whole album got deleted.
I actually got to the limit of the photobucket account so I had to start deleting some..:(

You should get the US version. It's kinda like the H2 lights.;)
Don't like the clears, thanks for adding to the euro countries, didn't know germany had XJs also.

I like the light because it is smaller. We only have one bulb so I think I would plug it to the lower red one. Kinda like a G class.

where do they get those rear spoilers from:shiver:

The rear spoilers were a factory option in the States and, I believe, standard on the Exports. I tried 5 years ago to find one here. Still looking...

The rear spoilers were never a north american option.
They were available on the UK Orvis edition.
ASD tuning (from spain) made replicas; that's how I got mine.

This is why I like imageshack more than photobucket :spin1:

I'm not really a fan of the regular euro tail lights, though those stock-looking red/white ones are pretty nice. Can't stand the overly shiny ones showed in the post that mentioned rice, they are too "bling" for my tastes.

Does the spoiler keep snow and rain off the rear window during the winter?

I hate how much road grime and snow/slush get deposited on the rear window after just a little bit of driving and Im tired of washing the window every time I want to drive.

I find most of that stuff is actually a result of the turbulence behind the jeep and comes from underneath it, not over it.

It's pretty useless IMO.
It has a purdy LED third brake light, but that's about it.

I think they look good. I'm so used to it on mine that when I see an XJ without one it looks kind of funny:)
