Well, I just camped out at a Walmart in Westerly RI for 30ish hours to get playstation 3. I was 4th in line and there were 6 sold. I had people offer me as much as 1500 cash on the spot just for my position in line. 1500 bucks strait profit for nothing. I did not take their offers though, as i could sell it on ebay ( my plan) for 2600 and get 2000. It cost me $642.93 to buy, and the profit goes towards my lift/tires.

It was pretty crazy living at a walmart and sleeping there and whatnot and was totally worth it considering the profit i will make.

I heard the marketing exec on the radio this morning saying that they will not be able to satisfy the demand for the PS3 until spring. I couldn't believe it when they said that they would sell on ebay for upwards of $2000- that is absolutely insane! In any case, congrats on the score!

A cop rolled up to us and talked to us, he was young and was cool about it. He jokingly said he would cut us , and if we had a problem with it, he would arrest us for loitering. lol

I am glad that I don't like video games. Never really have, actually. I've always been more interested in vehicles. I was always outside with my dad working on the ol' 57 Chevy Truck. That thing was bas a$$ until he sold it. It was all tubbed out with slicks and a built 327. Good times.

I used to play a lot of games...in high school...glad I got that out of my system.

I like how these people (people my age 30+) play games like 'call of duty' or 'splinter cell' (or other type of wargames)...they say they are really good at it and playing the game is so realistic...NOT.

I like to see some of these guys go play a game of paintball...how about running and trying to shoot straight at the same time...not as easy as you think. Even shooting a .45 in a indoor range is different that doing it on a PC...don't care how realistic the graphics look.

yeah you do, ET is pretty good too. DoD is good but a bit slow, never on with enough frequency to be in a clan but that wouldnt stop us from dragging all of our comps to a friends house and playing :D

What's wrong with people? I just can't feature taking a day or two off, and camping in a damn PARKING LOT just to be the "first" to get something...

Granted, it's probably just me.

When my wife came home a few weeks ago and told me we'd be getting one anyhow from work (RAMBUS,) I had to look to see what the thing was anyhow.

Oh well, as long as they've got some good first-person shooters ported to it, I can find something to do...

Still, if I weren't in line to get one gratis, I probably wouldn't bother with it.

It's like when I used to run a TicketMaster terminal - had to make my way in through people camped in the parking lot, just because they were trying to get good seats. At least they were in line for something then - this is just a case of "I got mine," which I have a hard time understanding...
