AC QUESTION

I got a customer with a 99 xj 4.0 with A/C and was wondering if the idler and bracket from a non-A/C 4.0 xj around the same year would work to eliminate the air conditioning???? sorry if the answer is out there i couldnt find it in search.... thanks again everyone!

nothing that new was offered with no a/c IIRC, but you could grab the idler/bracket off a 91/92 mj/xj without it and run the matching belt for no a/c.
