One of these days, I'd like to be able to make a "meet-n-greet" but Sacramento is a bit out of the way all the time - and won't be any easier once I start classes. So, who's where and would it be potentially doable to have a gathering somewhere closer to the Bay Area - perhaps around Berzerkeley or maybe Livermore? Just wondering...

C'mon guys - I've watched the chatter and I know we've got more SF Bay Area guys than this! Jes is up in the City, f'r instance, and I just may start a recruiting drive in my new neighbourhood (I've got at least half a dozen people in the area who DON'T think I'm nuts with three XJ's on the lot... They do blink a couple times when I say I want to get some more, tho...)

If I can get enough ideas for where everyone be, I'll put up a poll.

Classes? I don't think I need to start a class - I could probably teach that by osmosis without too much trouble...

I need to get some new NAXJA stickers to put on the rest of my XJ's, tho - give the locals something to ask about.

I'm in Pleasanton. I would be interested in a local meet n greet too. Doesn't have to be anything too formal. Now that I'm an official member I hope to go on a few runs and meet more of the members in the Bay Area and beyond.

Hollister is cool for just a day run and BBQ. What about Frank Raines? Lots of picknik areas and camping, and some challenging terrain too. I think there was a run there last year.

Anyway, I'm up for a get together.

i would kind of like to have a bay area meet and greet as well. i am in castro valley. I think a day run would be cool to with a BBQ. i have been wanting to go on a run for a while but it seems that every trip i got something already planned.
