help, cruise control not working

so i pulled all my CC parts when i got the jeep, and i put them back on and it wont work. first issue is the faded controls i cant read. but i tryed my best and still nothing. what could it be? i'm driving to cleveland and back next week and it would be nice to have thanks.

Well under the hood there are only three things: wire harness, vacuum connector, and the cable to the throttle linkage.

91 loredo stock CC. linkage is good, wires are good dont know about the vacum. maybe the switch on the colum or a fuse?
