1993 Questions on drivetrain

So I have the transmission pulled off since the truck would go into gear when the motor is turned off, but once i turn the truck on it wouldnt go into gear. Assuming its got something to do with the hydraulics in the clutch i notice it doesnt have a slave cylinder. Is this 1993 specific? what should i buy to make this thing go into gear.

im thinking of buying a new clutch, a hydraulic clutch control unit, anything else i would need?

It doesn't have a slave? Remember, the early slaves are internal to the bellhousing.
