89 Big Vibration

My 89 xj with select-trac has a tight vibration noticable at about 50mph and up. The strange thing is that when I put it in 4WD the vibration goes away. The front drive shaft rotates in 2 and 4WD so I wonder what's going on. Please help I do a lot of highway driving. Thanks

I had the EXACT same problem....try taking a look at your bearings all around. I ended up having to replace the right front wheel bearing on mine. Good luck!
