They had monster jam in philly at the link on Saturday night, it was pretty kick ass. The tickets were pretty reasonable & we had really good seats. Max D and Grave Digger put on a really good show, we tailgated & there were tons of people there having fun. So a few highlights...& Max D won the freestyle and the vid is first.

Cool, looks like they finally have a venue that the trucks can really run around. I remember going to one of these at the Spectrum MANY years ago where they just raced over a pile of cars and shut it off on the other side. No turns or anything.

Yeah I saw a show a few months ago in trenton in a arena like that & it was really lame because by the time you got up to speed the trucks had to stop. Lincoln Financial field is pretty darn big so, it was cool & by the end almost everyone had some kind of carnage.

I have pictures from the Spectrum during a tractor pull/monster truck show. Probably from the early 90s. Back when BIGFOOT was THE truck. When it was just an early 90 F-150, on a frame with a roll cage. I think i have a VHS of bigfoot...they show you how they built it and all that.

Anyway, you'd watch the tractor pulls. Then at the end they'd pull a few old cars out and line them up. And the monster trucks would jump them. And Bigfoot ALWAYS jumped further and higher than the other trucks. Always last to go, and when he would jump you'd see 1000's of flashes going off. That was a highlight of my youth haha.

That vid of Max-D was awesome. I was starting to think it was just gonna be a boring run...but that huge air followed up by that crazy save, then him just goin nuts was awesome. That guy is usually good for a good show.
