build my own bumper

i would like to build my own bumer. i have my own metal working shop in which to build it. The critiera for the bumper. 2 d rings and a mount for a reciever. i dont want a massive hunk of steel on the front of my jeep. i just want enough to protect my jeep. but not to the point it will be a bumper like you see on those huge trucks. any ideas for me would be greatly helpfull. if you have pics of one you have built i would like to see them to get ideas.

i was planning on putting a reciever right in the middle so that it would clear through the hole that is in the front crossmember just havent got to it yet
