Picked up some MJ interior trim for one of the SEC guys this weekend, I'm trying to find a way to parts train it down to him to avoid the ridiculous amount UPS would want to ship it (it would at least double the cost.) I *think* we've got everything lined up at this point, except a place for the stuff to sit between NACFest and the third weekend of July. If everything goes according to plan I'll bring the trim to NACFest and someone awesome will hold onto it in southeastern PA until the 16th/17th/18th of July when gambit4000s will pick it up on his way to/from NJ and bring it back to TN for High2by.
Anyone feel like volunteering some garage space and a little time?
Also... johngus (if you see this), I have the rest of your MJ sliders. I will bring them to NACFest or if you want, try to find a way to get them to you sooner.

Where in SE PA does it have to stay? As long as its not a ton of crap, I could probably do it...

MJ parts, eh? Hmmm, yeah, I've got garage space. Sure, I'll help out.
Seriously though, Id be happy to hold onto some parts ifit would help. I'm not exactly on the way from TN to NJ though.

I'm not sure - I *think* anywhere near the best route from Englishtown NJ to "865" (Knoxville?) would be best, but I don't know the route he's planning on taking. My bet is i95.
As for what it is - it's all the interior trim for the B-pillars on an MJ. Two lowers, two uppers. Figure a stack of plastic about 18" wide, 10" tall, and 4' or so long, weighing approximately 10-20 pounds.
EDIT: Jordan - yeah, looks a little out of the way, not sure yet. I'll pm him this thread and see what he thinks... thanks for offering guys!

I live about half an hour from Englishtown NJ and the track there. I could hold on to them.

Thanks Ken, depending on the parts, I can store them here in Philly if that helps. i will get the rest of the slider parts from ya at NACFest.

I usually take I-81 into PA and then over to NJ, dragging a 40' trailer through DC/Baltimore sucks and we usually pick up a few friends in PA, but pretty much anywhere south of Massachusetts is good. I think I have gotten out of driving the tow pig this year so I can detour as needed.
And I am in Knoxville TN. (865=VOL=University of Tennessee Volunteers=Very fOrking Lame)I could swear I put a return address on your MJ fuel level sender; Maybe I'll just come to your house and take it back...
How much stuff are we talking? I know High2by needs a rear panel, b-pillars and belts and maybe a headliner.

Haha yeah I forgot to copy the address down before recycling the box. I don't live there anymore actually :eyes: moved when my lease ended on the 31st. What I've got for him this time is the upper and lower b-pillar trim, no belts or back panel, I'll have to see if the headliner is still there when I go back but I seem to recall it being in pretty sad shape and held together with tacks or small self tapping screws or something.

I live about 20-30 mins away from Englishtown. But he would have to go further north past it to get to me.

Looks like a few different options available... figure this should be determined by the end of this week!
gambit - which location is easiest for you?
"southeast" PA (js_customs)
D-town PA (MrSimon)
Long Branch NJ (xcalibur223)
Philadelphia (Johngus)
OR Adam doesn't have to worry about it at all, and Stukboy will bring the stuff down.
any will work for me, basically it comes down to whatever is most convenient for you and the guys who offered to help in between.

Meeting Stukboy in Harlan would work for me, Stukboy are you coming in June or July? Either way I can meet you. Harlan is relatively close and I will probably be in and out of KY most of the summer. (I realize how that sounds....) pm sent

Hmmmm... I will be getting in LATE on the 18th. If we can find a way to meet up on the 19th (shouldn't be hard) yes, I can get the stuff to him this weekend, if he ends up going.

OK, Here is the deal.
Sorry to say the trip to Harlan is canceled!!!
I'm sorry if I put kinks in the master plan!!!
I realized that with all the shit I need to get done before a trip that it
just wasn't going to happen.
I'm so close I can taste it but with working 9-6 everyday this week then being in the garage til midnight it is starting to have an affect on the quality of the work.
Good luck with the train and sorry again!!

I've been in that position myself, sorry to hear, I was thinking of hanging out with you guys and check out Harlan before the Cherokee Crawl. Good luck getting it together.
Ken let me check the other locations against my trip in July and we'll work something else out. I'll post up later today.

I should have internet on my phone while at RC, so just get back to me by about noon on Sunday and everything should work out. If not, I'll pick a random person / whoever volunteers and drop the stuff with them!
