Hello all,
Thinking of getting this: http://www.harborfreight.com/welding/mig-flux-welders/90-amp-flux-wire-welder-98871.html
Have never welded anything before.
Question is should I just pay someone else to replace the floor?
TIA

In your position I would probably just have it done. If you check your chapter there may be someone who would do it for you reasonably cheap. It is not the most fun job to learn to weld on.

There is a reason it's only $99.

It might work if the floors were a thicker gage of steel, you are likely to burn through the floors before you actually weld with that. For the floors a MIG with shielding gas would be a better choice than the flux core wire welder.
These would be better for a cheap welder

Or just stay away from HF welders.

X2.
Learning to weld on the thin factory sheet metal is not a fun job. I'm putting in an OEM floor pan to replace my rusted floors and the new metal is thin and very easy to blow holes in it.
I have a thread goin over in the SEC forum titled "Man What a Job". Go there to see what it is like.
