haha. i know, i know. but i distinctly remember 2 or 3 of these threads in the modified forum just last month... searching:
EDIT: found one- http://naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1033206
i know some mag did a tire comparison as well. it was what... JP or something.
"best" is a relative term, the tires need to fit the terrain.

Both IN MY OPINION do well in the rock. Neither do well in the mud. The KM2's seem to wear good on the road. Unsure of the goodyears. What are you wanting? Weekend wheeler/DD? I like my Truxas MT's but most people don't care for the SS issues(hard to ballance, out of round) Friend of mine was looking at the same 2 tires and after alot of research went with the Micky Thompson MT's. He loves them and said he was glad he decided on them.
Good luck choosing
Hope the info helps some

my jeep is a weekend toy with a little on road miles when i want to drive it . not a dd by any means curently has 37" irocks but does not have the right gear/power to run them. also tought the lighter weight of radial tires would be better on parts

My vote is the Kevlars. I've seen both in action and the kevlars seem to grip on dry rock better

I have both sets, I use my 37 km2's on the road, which work well of road to. I use my goodyears for a little more extreme wheelin now that I have two sets.
Both are good tires, the km2's are better on road--kevelar's better off-road
You'll be happy with either

I did a lot of searching before I bought my tires, it seems like people either love or hate the km2's, but it still seems to be the most popular tire on various forums. I ended up going with cooper stt's though just because I got such a good deal on them.

You'll like the MTRs. I've had mine for about 2 years now. They've made it through about 5 rock crawling trips to Disney and about 10,000 miles of daily driving. Still have over half tread, ride pretty quiet for 35's, and the sidewalls have held up great despite repeated abuse on the rocks.

What size did you end up with? I'll be at the crawl myself so I can check out how they do first hand! :D
