Ive been looking for those white gauges that look really cool at night. Ive seen people had them before and was wondering where they got them. I saw some on ebay but it says for 97-98. Will these work for a 2001.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-98-Jeep-Cherokee-w-Tach-HALO-Glow-Inverter-w-Gauges_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ43952QQhashZitem 260051265486QQihZ016QQitemZ260051265486QQrdZ1#ebay photohosting Does anyone know where to get them for an 01. Also anyone have a write up on how to do this. Thanks

I don't think they will. The only reason I say so is because when I look through all the auctions, they list 97-98 and 00-01. That seems to me that there is something that is slightly diffrent between the years.

I just wanted to say that these will not work on a 2001 i just looked at the owners manual and take a look at the pic the check engine light comes before the check gauges and there are various other things like the open hatch indicator

Take a look at the ones from http://www.4x4mods.com. I warn you about getting installed that you make sure you have someone that you trust do these to install them. Since they are one piece it is very difficult to "slide them over the needles" as the instructions tell you. I had a shop install these for me and they ended up removing the needles and breaking my speedometer needle. Luckily I was able to find a new cluster that I was able to drive around my car with until it was exactly 5,000 miles different on my odometer. Just warning you may not want to spend the money on such a useless aesthetic modification.

"they say that you dont have to remove the needles" TOTAL BS F'n BS... all works on mine but the spedometer.. crapolicious not to mention that now after 2 years the vinyle covering is actually bubbling and bieng nasty.. general feeling for this mod are mixed as it has alot of potential but the process and the spedometer issue cancel it out...

DONT RECOMMEND!

Like Krazors001 said check out www.4x4mods.com. I installed their glow gauges in my '97 a couple of years ago. Their listing says 97-99 and 00-01, so I would assume that is accurate. You just need to be careful if you are a D.I.Y. kind of person I installed these in about an hour, what you are looking at is a very similair installation *very important slide the needles through the holes in the overlay, yes it is a little tricky, but the needles are not meant to come off that why the shop broke krazors001 off. They didn't read the instructions that came with the gauges. I like the look of my indiglo gauges and couldn't be happier. I like the ones you found better, I don't plan on changing it until something goes wrong with what I have. As for installation PM me and I'll try to tell you if you're interested.
