99xj steering column into a 2000xj

I just picked up a 2000 xj for 700 bucks. Runs great, needs exhaust, drivers seat, and a new ignition, along with a little under dash wiring. I know someone said the wiring will work from a 99 into the 2000, how about the steering column

1997-2001 steering columns will interchange. The only real difference is the Sentry Key Immobilizer factory security system. If you have it, you need the column from a donor with it. If you don't have it, you need a column from a donor that does not have it. Sentry Key Immobilizer Ignition keys are gray in color and extra thick.

The cruise control switch panels are different for 97-99 and 00-01 (you can swap yours over just fine), other than that and what Tim mentioned, you should be good to go.
