Dont buy shocks from Summit for 0-2" of lift when using a 2" BB. They are 2" too short.
When un-bolting the rear shocks, dont break the bolt and then snap the easy out in the broken bolt. No matter how much WD40 you use, its not enough on a 10yr old XJ.

Use an air chisel and knock the weld nuts out, then fish new hardware into the crossmember. You are not alone in your broken shock bolt hell.

Don't use WD40, use PB Blaster or liquid wrench. WD40 was not designed to deal with rust, any effect it has on rust is simply a byproduct of its intended use.

I used PB Blaster, I just call everything WD40.
